In this video, learn how to use "I wonder, I'm wondering, I was wondering".

All three sentences are the verb "to wonder" in different verb conjugations.

I wonder = present simple.

I'm wondering = present continuous.

I was wondering = past continuous.

All three sentences have the same meaning. When you would use a specific one depends on the context.

Use the present simple "I wonder" when you're simply thinking out loud but you don't expect or need a reply.

Use either "I'm wondering" or "I was wondering" when you're asking an indirect question and you want a reply. There's no difference in meaning between the two sentences even though they use different verb tenses.
